Alexander Chekalin was born in 1925 in Tula Oblast and served as a partisan during the Second World War. He joined the resistance movement, fighting against occupation and defending his homeland through guerrilla warfare.
Chekalin's courageous partisan activities ended in 1941. He is remembered as a dedicated freedom fighter who sacrificed his life in the struggle for his country's liberation.
