Biography

Alexander Chicherin (1793–1813) was a military officer whose brief life was marked by service during the Napoleonic Wars, a period of intense military conflict that reshaped Europe. Despite his youth, he achieved the rank of officer and participated in the military affairs of his time.

Chicherin's early death at age twenty reflects the tragic costs of the military campaigns of the early 19th century. He was laid to rest at Olšany Cemetery, a final resting place that commemorates his service and sacrifice during a turbulent era.
