Alexander Hale Smith

Biography

Alexander Hale Smith, born in 1838, was known for his thoughtful counsel and gentle leadership, which left a lasting impression on the Lamoni community. His devotion to faith and fellowship helped strengthen bonds during times that tested courage and conviction.

He died in 1909, and Lamoni Rose Hill Cemetery now keeps his restful place, where the peace he championed continues to inspire many.
