Alexander Philipson

Biography

Alexander Philipson was born in 1764 and was a member of Berlin's Jewish community during a period of significant social transition. He lived through the late 18th and early 19th centuries, witnessing changes in the status and opportunities available to Jewish residents.

He died in 1822 and was interred at the Jüdischer Friedhof Berlin-Mitte, where he remains part of the documented history of Berlin's Jewish population.
