Alexander W. Murray was born in 1864 and lived through a period of remarkable American expansion and progress. His life spanned the Gilded Age and into the modern era, witnessing tremendous changes in industry, culture, and society.
He was laid to rest at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, a testament to his place in the community and the era in which he lived.
