Alexandre Jeanne was a French bookseller born in 1802. He played an important role in the literary and intellectual life of Paris during the early 19th century, serving as a merchant of books and ideas during a period of significant cultural development.

Jeanne's profession as a bookseller positioned him at the intersection of commerce and culture, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and literature throughout Parisian society.
