Biography

Alexandre Tcherkasov was a French resistance fighter born in 1917 who demonstrated exceptional courage and commitment during World War II. His involvement in the French resistance represented the sacrifice and bravery of those who fought against occupation and oppression during one of history's darkest periods.

Tcherkasov's life was cut short in 1944 as a result of his resistance activities, making the ultimate sacrifice for his convictions and his nation. He was laid to rest in Poil, honored as a martyr to the cause of freedom and French liberation.
