Alexei Sorokin

Biography

Alexei Sorokin (1795–1869) was a Russian military personnel who served the Russian Empire during the early and mid-19th century. He dedicated his career to military service during a period that included the Napoleonic Wars and subsequent Russian military developments.

Sorokin was interred at the Commandant Cemetery, a burial ground typically reserved for military personnel and officers. His seventy-four-year life reflected the span of significant military and political changes in 19th-century Russia.
