Alferd Packer

Biography

Alferd Packer made his living as a prospector and guide across the Colorado mountains, facing the harshness of the frontier while serving the travelers and miners who crossed his path.

He spent his final years near Littleton and now rests in Littleton Cemetery, where visitors reflect on the rugged days of western exploration and the complicated stories those days produced.
