Alfred Gilmore

Biography

Alfred Gilmore (1812–1858) lived during the mid-nineteenth century, a time of rapid change and development in America. He was part of a generation that witnessed the nation's expansion and transformation.

Gilmore's life, though relatively brief at forty-six years, was spent in connection with his community. He was interred in Church on the Hill Cemetery, where his memory is honored.
