Biography

Alfred Patusset (1853–1924) was a French composer who contributed to the musical life of Paris during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His seventy-one years witnessed the evolution of French musical composition through the Romantic and early modern periods.

Patusset's work as a composer placed him within the artistic circles of Belle Époque Paris. His burial at Père Lachaise Cemetery, the final resting place of many distinguished French artists and musicians, reflects his contributions to French cultural life.
