Biography

Alfred Pokorny (1886–1932) was a Czech individual whose life was lived during the formative years of the Czechoslovak state. He witnessed the establishment and early development of the independent nation following the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Pokorny's memory is preserved at Malvazinky Cemetery, where he rests among the community members who contributed to Czech society during this transformative period in Central European history.
