Alfred Roland

Biography

Alfred Roland was a French poet of considerable talent, born in 1797. His literary contributions to French poetry reflected the romantic sensibilities and artistic movements of the nineteenth century.

Roland devoted himself to the craft of verse and poetic expression throughout his life. He passed away in 1874 and was laid to rest in Saint Roch Cemetery, leaving behind a body of poetic work that contributed to the literary heritage of his era.
