Biography

Alfredo Guimarães was a Portuguese military personnel who served his country with dedication and honor. Born in 1884, he pursued a career in military service, contributing to Portugal's defense and national interests during a transformative period in European history.

Guimarães died in 1918, during the final year of the First World War, having given his life in service to his nation. He was honored with burial at Richebourg-L'Avoue Portuguese National Cemetery, where he rests among his fellow Portuguese soldiers who fell during the Great War.
