Alfrēds Audze

Biography

Alfrēds Audze served as a military officer during the turbulent years around Latvian independence, bringing steady leadership to his comrades and attention to the welfare of those under his command.

After the frontlines he continued to teach younger officers and to advocate for the care of families who had sacrificed so much, a quiet heroism now commemorated at Brothers' Cemetery.
