Biography
Alice Grenfell devoted herself to the study of Egyptian antiquities, sharing her findings in lectures and writings to deepen public appreciation for ancient cultures.
Her grave at Holywell Cemetery softly recalls the many artefacts she helped to catalogue and the inspiration she offered to fellow scholars.
