Alice Lee Jemison (1901–1964) was a spirited activist whose steadfast advocacy uplifted those who needed a voice. She tirelessly pursued justice and equity, believing deeply that every person deserved dignity and opportunity.
Her courage and compassion continue to guide hearts and minds at United Missions Cemetery and in the causes she championed. Her story reminds all who hear it that one determined individual can light the way for many.
