Alice P. Cornwall (1855–1929) devoted herself to supporting family and friends while witnessing the transformation of her Portland neighborhood.

She is remembered for the generous listening ear she offered and the comforting steadiness that now echoes through Rose City Cemetery where she was laid to rest.
