Biography
Allan Ohata displayed extraordinary courage as a member of the all-volunteer Nisei units in Europe during World War II, earning a Medal of Honor for his steadfast leadership under fire.
Back home he remained a quiet example of duty and integrity, encouraging fellow veterans and continuing to serve his community, and today he rests among fellow heroes at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
