Alois Bloch

Biography

Alois Bloch was born in 1889 and lived through the dramatic upheavals of the twentieth century. He passed away in 1953, having experienced the transformation from the Austro-Hungarian Empire through two world wars and into the modern era.

He was part of the Jewish community in Brno and was laid to rest in the city's Jewish cemetery, a place that honors the memory of those who contributed to the community's rich cultural heritage.
