Alois Rozkošný lived through the transformative period from the late nineteenth century through the mid-twentieth century, witnessing profound changes in Moravian society and Central European history. His long life allowed him to experience the region's evolution during one of history's most significant periods of change.

Rozkošný's memory is honored in the Cemetery in Prostějov, where he rests among other community members who shaped the social and cultural fabric of this important Moravian town.
