Biography

Alojzy Stolpe was a Polish composer active during the early 19th century, a period of rich musical development in Warsaw and the broader Polish cultural sphere. His compositions contributed to the musical heritage of the era, reflecting the classical and early romantic sensibilities of his time.

Though his life was cut short at the age of forty, Stolpe's work remained part of Poland's musical tradition. He was interred at Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw, a final resting place befitting his status as a cultural contributor to Polish society.
