Biography
Alphonse Auvity was a French military officer who rose to the rank of divisional general during the nineteenth century. He served with distinction throughout his military career, contributing to France's military leadership during a transformative period in European history.
General Auvity's legacy is preserved in the records of French military service and in his final resting place at Cimetière de Montmartre, Division 12, where he was laid to rest following his death in 1860.
