Biography
Alžběta Ráczová was a Czech resident who lived from 1908 to 2001. Born at the beginning of the twentieth century, she witnessed the entire span of modern Czech history, from the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire through the establishment of the independent Czech Republic.
Ráczová's ninety-three years of life encompassed some of the most significant transformations in European history. She was laid to rest at Vinohrady Cemetery, where she is remembered as a member of her community and generation.
