Amos Harding

Biography

Amos Harding was born in 1764 and lived through the Revolutionary War and the establishment of American independence, dying in 1839 at an advanced age. His 75 years encompassed the transformation of the colonies into a functioning democratic republic.

Harding was laid to rest in Blooming Grove Cemetery, where his grave stands among those of his neighbors and contemporaries. His final resting place preserves the memory of a man who lived through one of history's most significant periods of change and nation-building.
