Biography
Amund Ringnes co-founded the Ringnes brewery, transforming regional beer-making into an enterprise celebrated for quality and vigor, while also supporting cultural and scientific ventures. He was known for a restless entrepreneurial energy that sought to strengthen Norway's economic life.
Beyond commerce he lent support to exploration and public causes, believing that prosperity should fuel shared aspirations, and today his name is revered at Vår Frelsers gravlund.
