Anastazy Bitdorf

Biography

Anastazy Bitdorf (1840–1900) was a Polish factory owner who contributed to the industrial development of his region during the latter half of the 19th century. His work in manufacturing reflected the growing industrialization of Poland during this period of economic change.

Bitdorf was interred in the Catholic cemetery at Ogrodowa Street in Łódź, a significant burial place for prominent citizens of the city. His legacy as a factory owner represents the entrepreneurial spirit of 19th-century Polish industrial society.
