Biography
Anatole Bailly was a French lexicographer and scholar whose meticulous work in compiling and analyzing language contributed significantly to French linguistic scholarship. Born in 1833, he devoted much of his life to the systematic study of words, meanings, and their historical development, establishing himself as a respected authority in his field.
