Andrei von Delwig

Biography

Andrei von Delwig (1813–1887) was a Russian military officer whose career spanned the nineteenth century. As a member of the von Delwig family, he served in the Russian armed forces during a period of significant military and political change in the Russian Empire.

Delwig's military service reflected his commitment to the Russian state during decades of transformation and challenge. He was buried in Novodevichy Cemetery, a testament to his status and significance in Russian military and social circles.
