Andrew Barclay Meldrum (1857–1928) served as a steadfast companion to friends, offering both encouragement and practical support whenever challenges arose. He took pride in the traditions of his family while remaining open to new ideas for bettering the community.

Even after his passing, Andrew's commitment to fellowship continues to inspire gatherings of remembrance near his gravesite at Westwood Cemetery.
