Biography
Andrew Goodman devoted his young life to the pursuit of civil rights, standing alongside fellow activists to press for dignity and equality for every American. His courage and commitment during the Freedom Summer of 1964 inspired countless others to join the struggle for justice.
Though his life was cut tragically short, the legacy of his sacrifice lives on through ongoing efforts to advance the movement he so passionately championed, and he is laid to rest at Mount Judah Cemetery.
