Andrew L. Harris

Biography

Andrew L. Harris answered the Civil War's call with distinction, rising to the rank of brigadier general before turning his attention to Ohio politics and ultimately becoming the state's governor.

He never lost the soldier's habit of careful planning, and his leadership is still recalled by the people of Mound Hill as they visit his final resting place.
