Biography

Andrey Ivanovich Ivanov was a celebrated painter whose artistic vision and technical mastery made him one of the notable figures in Russian art of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. His works exemplified the aesthetic principles of his time and contributed to the development of Russian painting.

Ivanov's career spanned more than seven decades, during which he maintained an influential presence in artistic circles. He passed away in 1848 and was interred at Smolenskoye Orthodox Cemetery, where he rests among other luminaries of Russian culture.
