Biography

Andrzej Rosicki (1814–1904) lived a long life spanning most of the 19th century, witnessing profound changes in Polish society and European history. His ninety years of life provided him with perspective on the dramatic transformations of his era.

Rosicki was buried in the Catholic cemetery at Ogrodowa Street in Łódź, one of the city's important burial grounds. His interment in this cemetery reflects his place within the Catholic community of Łódź during the 19th century.
