Biography

Ann Elliott Huger Cottenet, born in 1825, was a witness to an era of great national growth and devoted herself to sustaining the care and traditions of her family.

Those who knew her recall a gracious and steady presence, and after her death in 1907 she was laid to rest among the peaceful grounds of Green-Wood Cemetery.
