Anna Demidova

Biography
Anna Demidova served as a lady's maid to Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna in the household of Tsar Nicholas II. Born in 1878, she was devoted to her duties and remained a trusted member of the imperial household during the final turbulent years of the Russian Empire. As a lady's maid, she was intimately involved in the daily life of the imperial family and witnessed the dramatic events that unfolded during World War I and the Russian Revolution.
Anna Demidova demonstrated unwavering loyalty to the imperial family she served. In July 1918, she was executed along with Tsar Nicholas II, Tsarina Alexandra, and their children by Bolshevik forces in Yekaterinburg. She was buried in the Peter and Paul Cathedral, the traditional resting place of the Russian imperial family, honored for her faithful service.
