Biography

Anna Edita Skaličková was born in 1904 during the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. She lived through the establishment of Czechoslovakia and witnessed the profound social and political transformations of the twentieth century.

Skaličková's life extended through much of the twentieth century until her death in 1966. Her lifetime encompassed periods of independence, occupation, and the early decades of Communist rule in Czechoslovakia.
