Anne Whitney Rhodes was born in 1810 and lived through the early waves of American change, remaining deeply committed to her family and to the quiet rhythms of Providence life. She was valued for her steady faithfulness and the gentle encouragement she offered during seasons of both joy and sorrow.

She passed away in 1898 and was interred at Swan Point Cemetery, where her example of steadfast care continues to inspire the families who remember her.
