Anne Yates

Biography

Anne Yates was born in 1787 and lived through a remarkable span of American history. She witnessed the early republic's development and the changes that marked the nineteenth century during her long life.

Yates passed away in 1855 and was laid to rest in Mount Holly Cemetery, where her memory is honored among those of her generation.
