Annie Brinkley Snowden, born in 1878, came of age during a period of rapid growth for Memphis and devoted herself to nurturing the people around her. Her compassion and attentiveness endeared her to a wide circle of relatives and friends.

She treasured the Brinkley family’s connections in the city, weaving them together with care until her final days. She lies at Elmwood Cemetery among those she cherished, a calm presence remembered for her thoughtful heart.
