Biography

Annie Elmira Rice, born in 1852, was a cherished member of her family whose life ended in 1884. Though little is recorded of her daily pursuits, Annie’s presence was felt by those close to her and she is remembered with gratitude for the warmth she brought to Rock Creek Cemetery and those who visit her resting place.

She now lies among the trees and stones of Rock Creek Cemetery, where her memory lives on through the quiet reflection of friends and descendants alike.
