Antal Fodor

Biography

Antal Fodor (1813–1895) was a Hungarian estate manager whose long career reflected the agricultural and economic structures of 19th-century Hungary. Through his work managing estates, he contributed to the economic life of the regions under his stewardship, embodying the practical expertise required in rural administration.

Fodor's professional dedication and administrative acumen were characteristic of the skilled managers who maintained Hungary's estates during a period of significant social and economic change. His life spanned most of the 19th century, witnessing and participating in the transformation of Hungarian rural life. He was laid to rest at Fenékpuszta.
