Biography

Anthony Acevedo served as a U.S. Army medic, offering lifesaving care to soldiers under fire and tending to wounds with steadfast compassion. His role in the medical corps during World War II gave him a unique perspective on sacrifice, and he never forgot the colleagues whose lives were forever altered by conflict.

He later became a storyteller for history, sharing his experiences to ensure future generations understood the cost of freedom and the value of resilience, until he found rest at Riverside National Cemetery. His commitment to remembrance and healing resonated with the many people he accompanied on the journey home.
