Biography

Antoine Gabriel Jars was a French politician who served during the early nineteenth century, a period of significant political transformation in France. His career spanned the tumultuous years following the Napoleonic era, during which he contributed to the governance and development of the French state.

Jars remained active in political life throughout his lengthy career, witnessing and participating in the major institutional changes of his time. He was interred in the Cimetière de Montmartre, Division 5, a final resting place befitting his status and service to the nation.
