Biography
Antoine Juste Alphonse Thomas was a notary who served the legal and administrative needs of Parisian society throughout much of the nineteenth century. As a notary, he held an important position of trust, authenticating documents and facilitating legal transactions for his clients.
Thomas lived from 1804 to 1886, spanning nearly the entire nineteenth century. His long career and subsequent burial in Père Lachaise Cemetery attest to his prominence and the respect he earned in his profession and community.
