Biography

Antoni Lesznowski lived during the mid-19th century, a period of significant transformation in Polish society and culture. Born in 1815, he came of age during an era of intellectual ferment and artistic development in Warsaw.

Lesznowski's life extended until 1859, allowing him to witness the dramatic changes of the mid-19th century. He was laid to rest at Powązki Cemetery, joining the many notable figures of his generation who contributed to Polish cultural memory and heritage.
