Antoni Nagórny

Biography

Antoni Nagórny was a prominent Polish economist of the nineteenth century whose work contributed significantly to economic thought in the Russian partition period. His scholarly pursuits and intellectual contributions earned him recognition among academic circles of his era.

Nagórny's legacy reflects the dedication of Polish intellectuals who advanced their disciplines despite the challenging political circumstances of partitioned Poland. He was laid to rest at Powązki Cemetery, one of Warsaw's most distinguished burial grounds.
