Biography
Antoni Scheur (1896–1920) was a Polish writer whose brief but promising literary career emerged during the early years of independent Poland. Though his life was cut short at just twenty-four years of age, his contributions to Polish letters demonstrated considerable talent and potential.
Scheur's work reflected the cultural renaissance of the newly independent Polish state in the early 1920s. He was buried at Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw, where he rests among other notable figures of Polish culture and society.
