Biography

Antonín Klus was born in 1910 and came of age during the interwar Czechoslovak Republic. He lived through a period of significant historical change, including the Second World War and its aftermath, which profoundly affected Czech society and culture.

Klus died in 1970 and was laid to rest in Vinohrady Cemetery. His life represents that of a Czech citizen who experienced the major transformations of the twentieth century in Central Europe.
