Biography
Antonín Pelz was a Czech bookseller who played an important role in the intellectual and cultural life of his community. Born in 1881, Pelz dedicated his professional life to the distribution of books and the promotion of literacy and learning in the Příbram region.
As a bookseller, Pelz served as a bridge between authors and readers, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and culture during the early twentieth century. He died in 1944 and was laid to rest in the City Cemetery in Příbram, where his contributions to local cultural life are remembered.
